2027 HSA Contribution Limits: What Adults Over 50 Need to Know

Don’t forget the HDHP requirements

To contribute to an HSA, your health plan has to qualify as a high-deductible plan. For 2027, that means a minimum deductible of $1,750 for self-only and $3,500 for family coverage. If your deductible is lower than that, you aren’t eligible to contribute, so check your plan documents before you fund the account.
